Directions to Universal Studios Orlando Resort:
From Orlando International Airport:
- Take SR-528 West 11 miles to I-4 East
- Take I-4 East 2 miles to exit 75A
- Follow the signs to Universal Orlando's main parking garage
- After parking, make your way to CityWalk and follow the signs to Universal Studios Florida
From I-4 Eastbound (Disney/Lake Buena Vista/Kissimmee):
- Take I-4 East to exit 75A
- Follow the signs to Universal Orlando's main parking garage
- After parking, make your way to CityWalk and follow the signs to Universal Studios Florida
From I-4 Westbound (Downtown Orlando):
- Take I-4 West to exit 74B
- Follow the signs to Universal Orlando's main parking garage
- After parking, make your way to CityWalk and follow the signs to Universal Studios Florida
If you are using a sat nav or google maps the address you need to enter is: 6000 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32810. This will take you straight the parking garage for the Universal theme parks and city walk. These directions to Universal Studios also apply if you are going to Volcano Bay or seeing the Blue Man Group. You need to park in the main Universal parking garage and then follow the signs.

- Prime Parking $40
- Prime Upgrade $14
- RV/Bus Parking $32
- Regular Parking $26 (this is option most people will go for)
Free Parking at Universal Studios Orlando Resort
There are a couple of Free parking options available at Universal Orlando, the main one free self parking after 6pm. This is not valid during Halloween Horror Nights. The other option is if you are going to the Universal Cinemark cinema. You get free parking for movie showings between 11am - 6pm. Regular parking must be paid in full and you will be refunded when you show the parking receipt at the cinema box office. You have to purchase two or more matinee cinema tickets to get the free parking.
Free Universal Orlando Parking Upgrade with Avis/Budget Car Hire
I have also read that guests that rent there cars with Avis or Budget car hire in Orlando International Airport can get a free upgrade voucher. This voucher gives them a free upgrade from regular parking to prime parking (saving $14). This is only available for cars picked up from MCO (Orlando International). You must collect a voucher from the sales person. This offer expires on July 31st 2020. For more information please see the Avis website.
I am not sure when this started as I have recently rented a car from MCO (December 2019) and I wasn't offered any vouchers. Please let me know if you have been given a free parking upgrade voucher and did it work?
