Downtown Disney Car Master Weekend in back this June on the 14th / 15th (2014) which is Fathers day weekend so a great treat for all the dads out there.
This is the fourth year the Car Masters weekend will be held at Downtown Disney and it’s only gets bigger and bigger, this year there will be over 150 classic, muscle and exotic cars along the West side promenade plus the you can meet the stars of the Disney-Pixars movie Cars 2 like Lightning McQueen, Finn McMissile and Mater.
Below is the full line up of the 2014 Downtown Disney Car Masters Weekend (14th/15th June) which is the same for both days except for the award ceremony on the Sunday.
- Cars character meet and greet - 10am to 5:30pm
- DJs - 10:30am to 5:30pm
- Car Masters Singers - Car Masters Stage 11am, 12pm, 1pm. Splitsville Stage 2pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm
- How to Draw a Car - Car Masters Stage 10am
- Creating Cars and Cars Land - Car Masters Stage 3pm
- Car Design - Car Masters Stage 4:30pm on Sat, 4:14pm on Sun
- Duncan Yo-Yo Experience - Splitsville Stage 10am and 1pm
- Richard Petty Driving Experience - Splitsville Stage 11:30am
- Disney Infinity Test Drive - Near Bongos
- Cars Movie Marathon - AMC Cars 10am and 3pm, Cars 2 12:30pm and 5:30pm
- Chevrolet Showcase - Near Cirque du Soleil
- RideMakerz Test Drive - Near House of Blues
- Splitsville Sock Hop - Ticketed event Sat 6pm to 9pm
- Chip Foose merchandise autographing - DStreet 11am to 2pm
- Disney Truck Shop - Near House of Blues 11am to 2pm
- Award Ceremony - Sunday at 6pm on the West Side promenade
Some of the cars we expect to see are Dodge Vipers, Ford Mustang's (Foose Spec), Nascar Racers, Herbie the Love Bug, Ford GT40, Classic Rolls Royces, AC Cobra plus hot rods, muscle cars and some exotic super cars not normally seen in America.
There will also be street venders and food trucks selling ice creams, burgers / hotdogs, soft drinks and beers as well as live entertainment from the Car Masters Singers. There is also a prize for the best car with a drive by of the top 50 cars on Sunday the 15th June at 6pm.
