June 2017 Update: We visited the Solterra Resort clubhouse last week and spoke to the management. The new cafe and lazy river should be open for the July 4th celebrations so fingers crossed.
The new Solterra Resort poolside cafe is a great addition to the clubhouse and we will add more details about the menu when it's open.
The Solterra resort lazy river was making good progress and will be a great place to cool off this summer, again we will add more details and photos once it's open.

Lovely property poor management company
The property and location is amazing but poorly managed. Incorrect information in hand book. Walmart is not a 5 minute drive. Hand book should be in different languages. No details on how to enter club house supplied. No poolside towels supplied pool was not cleaned throughout our 2 eek stay. No safe for valuables. Sent numerous emails during our stay for hot tub to be heated no response. Generic handbook details not specific to property. No first aid kit. Not all windows opened. For 1st night no washing up products supplied e.g sponges, washing up liquid, side light bulbs did not work in all rooms. Not all rooms had extra linen. Not all TV remotes worked.
Date of stay: August 2018

The majority of your comments are regarding the handbook, which does sound like it’s very generic and not specific to the home or community, which I appreciate is not helpful. | Pool towels / Safe – These are supplied at the owner’s discretion and don’t have to be in the villa, but would be ‘nice to have’ | Windows – You shouldn’t actually open any of the windows as it will cause the air conditioning unit to overwork and potentially break leaving you without air conditioning. The homes need to be closed (ie all doors and windows) for the AC to work effectively. | Washing Up Liquid etc – These don’t have to be supplied in a self-catering property, but again would be ‘nice to have’. They are sometimes just left by previous guests. | Side Bulbs – The side lights often work off a main switch on the wall, so they may have been turned off at the wall, and then would appear not to be working. | Spa Heat – The spas only heat up when you have paid for pool heating. | TV Remotes – Sounds like the batteries have been taken by previous guests. | Pool Cleaning – This is done on a weekly basis; the pool guys are often missed by guests as they are only there for 15-20 minutes. | I wished that you had dropped me an email whilst you were at the home, and I would have followed up on your emails on your behalf, unfortunately there isn’t anything I can do now apart from follow up for future guests.
