Rotonda West is a golfing community with five golf courses within the immediate area. It is a short drive away from dazzling white beaches and the wonderful warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Our beautiful Gulf Coast home has three large bedrooms , two bathrooms and an extended private, heated pool for your enjoyment. It has been tastefully decorated and is furnished and maintained to a very high standard.
Built on an oversized plot with beautifully landscaped gardens both front and rear, it affords peace and privacy. The South West facing pool is just perfect for sunbathing and viewing colourful sunsets.
This is a NO smoking home and we do not allow pets.
Situated in Rotonda West - a deed restricted golfing community half way between Sarasota and Fort Myers and within easy reach of three local airports (Tampa, Sarasota & Fort Myers). It is an ideal location, close to beaches, 6 golf courses, a nature reserve, great shopping!! and within reach of all Florida's major attractions - you will be spoilt for choice.

Relax in elegant comfort in the Great Room. There are two plush sofas, coffee table, side tables and an entertainment unit complete with a 42" HDTV, cable television with over 100 channels, Roku System, Netflix, CD player and DVD player. There is also a large collection of DVDs & music Cds to choose from.
This spacious, airy room has a cathedral ceiling and a ceiling fan. Triple patio doors give access to and views of the pool and lanai area.
The recently refurbished kitchen has quartz counter tops and new floor tile.
It has the full range of electrical equipment: large cooker with ceramic hob, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and a French pantry door fridge freezer with ice dispenser. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for every thing from a simple breakfast to a formal dinner.
Our formal dining room has a large table and seating for 6 people. There is a formal dining set and plenty of serving dishes, glasses etc to grace any formal dinner.
The nook area has a table and four chairs for breakfast or casual dining. It overlooks the lanai and pool area.
This spacious room is elegantly furnished and decorated in shades of gold and sage. The king-size pillow top bed is covered with a plush comforter and adorned with multiple pillows and cushions. The large dresser has ample drawer space and a mirror. There is a wall mounted 32" TV, telephone, CD player, iphone charger and radio alarm clock.
A large wardrobe area provides ample space for clothes and also storage space for cases .The master bedroom has a beautiful views over the gardens and pool area. Double sliding doors lead out onto the lanai and pool .
This light, airy room has a queen size bed, 2 night stands with lamps, large dresser with mirror, TV & DVD player, large closet, a CD and radio player. It also has double patio doors with access to the lanai and pool areas.
This large room has 2 twin beds, a night stand with a lamp, a tall drawer unit, large closet space and a radio and CD player.
The en-suite has 'his and hers' vanity units, a large garden tub, a walk-in shower and a separate toilet.Ample towels are provided and there is a hairdryer, curling tongs & hair straightener in the master bathroom.
The Main Bathroom is situated between the Second and Third Bedrooms. It has a toilet, a bath and shower, a sink and vanity unit, a towel closet and a hair dryer.
The lanai has a southerly aspect and provides access to sun all day long. Our extended pool (29 x 15 ) has been individually designed and includes a water feature and a raised planter area. Swim all year round in our solar heated pool. There is also optional electric heat for the cooler months.
The whole Lanai and Pool area is surrounded by a mesh cage for protection from insects.The lanai has a large table and 6 chairs for alfresco dining. There are also 4 additional loungers for relaxing by the pool. The covered Lanai area offers shade from the sun and a ceiling fan for added comfort.
Our pool and lanai area look out onto a beautiful large landscaped back garden. There are tall pine trees and island beds with palms and tropical plants. It all adds to the peace and tranquillity helping you to relax and enjoy the view.
The front porch is a great place to relax in the mornings with a cup of coffee while watching the sun come up!
There is a large integral garage with ample room to park. The garage is accesed by a remote control door and also has a door into the house.
The garage also houses the beach equipment, cool boxes, fishing gear, tennis equipment & three adult bikes.
High speed wifi is available to all guests.
The Cape Haze Peninsula could be described as a time capsule waiting to be discovered. It offers the visitor a diverse culture and a chance to glimpse the Florida of days gone by and is often referred to as the secret coastline. There are no big crowds here, just plenty of white sand lapped by the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and decorated with colourful shells and sharks teeth.
The coastline is unspoiled with sandy beaches it is easily accessible but remote enough to attract abundant wildlife, birds, dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, Bobcats, raccoons, foxes and plenty of alligators all native to the south west Florida Gulf coast. From sailing and boating, fishing, golf, fine and casual dining, shopping to the arts there is something for everyone, young and old alike.
Rotonda West is a designated nature reserve and is approximately 30 square miles of natural habitat interspersed with canals, homes and golf courses. It is a deed restricted community and a favoured location for many reasons and is ideally located to explore the peninsula. It has year round glorious weather it is an ideal spot to relax rest and restore, a chance to recover from today’s hectic place of life.
A variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets are all close by and for chain restaurants Port Charlotte is about 20 minutes away. Excellent supermarkets with an array of excellent fresh fish, meat and deli counters are very close and include Publix, Sweetbay and Winn Dixie. For the inevitable shopping, Port Charlotte Mall is approximately twenty minutes drive. Shops include Dillards, Macy's, Hollister, Bealls and J C Penny's.
Skirted by many barrier islands, such as Don Pedro or drive across the dridge to Gasparilla Island, with it's quaint town of Boca Grande, the haunt of the rich and famous, or take a boat to Cayo Costo, a Florida State Park.
South West Florida Gulf Coast Beaches
Stump Pass, a designated state park is a natural beach with no bars or high rise simply mangroves, sea oats, soft sand and sea.
Englewood Beach is the evening gathering point for watching the stunning sunsets the bars and restaurants are lively and offer a variety of dining options.
Blind Pass Beach to the north or Middle Beach as it is referred to locally is another natural beach; it is also a great walking beach great for sharks teeth and early morning dolphin spotting.
For the golfer Rotonda West boasts five golf courses each offering a challenging round of golf, you may even be fortunate to catch a glimpse of one of the resident Alligators.
Gulf Coast Boating
The barrier islands and warm waters of the Cape Haze peninsular offer a safe environment for even the novice boater and offer a magical half or full day of relaxation and an opportunity to see the barrier islands from the water. Discover hidden bays and deserted coves, meander slowly or bounce along at speed, it will not disappoint. It is truly magical to be able to gently boat through the the warm waters of the Gulf, teeming with shoals of small fish to schools of the mightier Dolphin.
Deep sea and freshwater fishing are second to none, fish for Snook, Tarpon, Bass Trout. It is the Tarpon capital and the annual tournament is held every year off Gasparilla Island.
There are many water sports, from power boats to sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, diving or parasailing.
Marinas are plentiful and offer an opportunity to experience these waters by yourselves or as part of a charter.
The Tampa Bay Rays play their home Spring Training games at the Charlotte Sports Park which is on State Road 776, about 10 minutes drive.
The spring training runs March thru February and then the local home team The Charlotte Stone Crabs play for the rest of the year.
