Wekiva Villa, our superb 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Cumbrian Lakes Villa

The villa is spacious and bright and immaculately clean, the pool and lanai were the perfect size and had many hours cooling down during the day and relaxing after the parks. Very convenient for all the parks. I am an ex -owner who took great care of my home and its no different to Peter and Karen's home. I would definitely recommend this villa is very clean, and up to date with modern fixture's, TV's etc and the finer touches are evident

The Villa was extremely well stocked, with all the equipment you may need, plenty of cups, plates, knives and forks and extra items that you may not think you will need but will! Everything has been thought about to make you stay a fantastic experience. My family and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Thank you.

This villa did not disappoint, we looked at townhouses, hotels, but we were so glad we chose Peter and Karen's villa., even though there was only 2 of us! Great response from Peter, during the booking process. The location is perfect, with Walmart, Publix and Aldi very cose by. The theme parks are approx 30 mins away. The facilities at the villa are superb, especially for a large family, with the games room offering something for everyone. The pool was great, with the added touch of pool lighting at night. Kitchen facilities great, every utensil available. TV, internet no issues. As mentioned in other review, the blinds are delicate, and you need to be careful with them. As a mum and wife, I’ll review based on what I would find helpful when reading reviews, in order of importance. 1- Location- 30 mins from Universal, less for Disney. 10 mins from Walmart, 12 from Publix (much nicer than Walmart) 2- Gated, secure, alarmed property. 3- Superb response time from the owner who I could contact directly. Peter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. 4- The villa was BEAUTIFUL. The kids were blown away. Very spacious and the living area with the double height ceiling was very special. 5- Exceptionally clean. Products to clean were left. 6- Pool was the perfect size. Pool guys were friendly. 7- WiFi was faultless. Imperative with three kids! Never had a problem with it. If you have kids, you know how important this is to your own well-being and sanity. 8- Air con was fab. 9- Games in the garage were excellent. Pool table, table tennis and table football to name a few. There were even bikes, helmets, scooters etc. so much more than we expected! 10- Villa was in a very good state- everything worked. Blinds were a little delicate but this is to be expected and was pointed out in the villa info. 11- Netflix!!! On a gigantic TV. Yes please. 12- X-Box and Wi with games. 13- Excellent washer and dryer. 14- Lots of kitchen equipment. All in excellent condition. 15- A huge turtle came to our door. A Florida Softshell was an exciting change to the slugs and snails of England! I can’t recommend this property enough. If anything, I don’t think the pictures do it justice. If you’re like me, trawling the internet, reading all the reviews for HOURS. Stop. Book this now and look forward to an awesome stay. ??

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wekiva villa. All the details given prior to arrival were clear. Upon arrival, the villa was easily found and very clean. The villa was extremely well equipped with plenty of towels, crockery and cutlery. My family loved the pool and the covered area was great for reading in the shade! It was lovely returning to the peace and quiet of the villa after the hustle and bustle of the parks. We enjoyed the privacy of having the conservation area at the rear but also being able to walk around the lake. The villa was extremely comfortable and spacious. The ice dispenser on the fridge proved invaluable! We enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for next year! That will be our 6th visit to Cumbrian Lakes - the area is an ideal distance from the parks and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

I booked this villa for my family of 6 for our 3 weeks in Florida, the reason I chose this one over all the others is because it had a complete master room down stairs with it's own full size bathroom and own access to the pool. This was ideal for us as my kids, wife and myself could have the whole upstairs and my sister and partner could have the downstairs room so they could have there own privacy. The villa was amazingly clean and modern with flat screen TVs and reliable wifi. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting to stay in a trouble free accommodation with great support and communication from the owners.

Had a lovely stay in this first class villa. It was clean and well equipped with everything you need, cups, glasses, plates, towels etc, And even plug adapters. The pool area was great, plenty of seating and the poolside toilet was ideal. family members spent time in the games room and we even went for a few bike rides on the bikes. Brilliant location, with supermarkets and restaurants 5 minutes away, very easy to find, directions were stop on and easy to follow. Correspondence With the owners was very good. Having stayed in quite a few different villas over the years, this villa is one of the best, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Villa was excellent, we really enjoyed our staying there! There is plenty of room, it`s in good condition and location is fantastic: peaceful secured area, everything you need is nearby (Gatorland, Space Center, Universal, Disney, Medieval Times, Old Town (Night cruise of old cars…), outlets, walmart and many other places. Every night we spended lot of time in pool area (Certainly pool heating was a good choice). The owners are great and easy to deal with and answer all questions quickly. That was a big deal for us: When You book and pay your accommodation in internet, it`s very important that owner seems to be reliable, as it really is in this case. It was just an unforgetable christmas for our family! We would highly recommend this to all of our friends in Finland! Tämä Villa on erinomainen, ja perheemme todella nautti olostaan siellä. We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this beautiful villa. As well as being a great place to relax after busy days at the parks it has everything you could need for your stay. A real home from home. Close to all amenities and not to far from all the usual Disney and Universal attractions. Any problems are fixed very promptly without disruption to your stay and the lady that manages the property was very nice and easy to get hold of. The children loved the pool and was a wonderful bonus after long hot days!. We will be back to stay next time we return to Orlando. Thank you for letting us stay in your great villa!

Date of Stay 13 Feb 2008 Fantastic property, a lot of space throughout and in particular the bedrooms are very comfortable. Beautifully decorated and very well cleaned prior to our arrival. The owners are great to deal with and answer any query ( no matter how small) quickly. A lot of extras have been thoughtfully provided and we found the sat nav to be a great help. The pool area which is also spacious and comfortable, backs onto woodland which gives great privacy. A wonderful property we would have no hesitation recommending it to friends/ family

We have been travelling to Florida for the last 25 years and have stayed in many Villa's over the years, we stayed here in 2012 and every time we have traveled since then we have tried to book this Villa, we were lucky this year and managed to get booked. We love this Villa for many reasons, it is safe, secure and very peaceful with with wonderful walks, I think we have seen all the wildlife that Florida has to offer. Karen and Peter Make you feel that their home is your home, when we walked in, it's just the little things that make you feel welcome, like the Xmas tree with the lights on and the Xmas decorations, it is luxurious it has everything a family needs from the inviting warm pool and spa to the best cable TV you can have, it has enough kitchen utensils and crockery you will ever need, and a games room to keep you all entertained, unlike other Villa's this Villa is very well maintained the Villa is extremely clean and the pool is serviced weekly. Our children (all grown up now) drive to the parks in 20 minutes, it's less than 5 minutes drive to a super Wall mart and 5 minutes drive to a Super Target and numerous restaurants within a 5 Minute drive. We can not recommend this Villa enough, We will return. The Mowat Family, Dalgety Bay, Scotland.

We had a wonderful stay at Peter & Karen's beautiful villa. It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and was a perfect base for the Disney parks, with the furthest Disney park only being about 15-20 minutes. It was a lovely location, nice and peaceful too. The pool was amazing and our girls absolutely loved it and just wanted to go in that every day! We had the best holiday and would highly recommend to stay in their villa, which we thought was also very reasonably priced.

16 Apr 2017 15 Mar 2017 Wir hatten diese wunderschöne Villa mit 8 Personen für 10 Tage bewohnt. Die Villa war genauso schön, wie auf den Fotos. Man hatte alles was man sich nur denken kann. Wunderschöne Einrichtungen. Die Küche war komplett mit allem was man brauch eingerichtet. Die beiden Schlafzimmer waren mit Badezimmer und begehbaren Kleiderschränken ausgestattet, so dass man sich direkt umziehen konnte. Die Betten waren super bequem. Jedes Detail mit Liebe hergerichtet. Super Pool mit Whirlpool. Das Haus ist mit einer Alarmanlage ausgestattet, so dass man sich immer sicher fühlen konnte. Wenn wir wieder nach Orlando kommen sollten, werden wir sicher wieder dieses Haus buchen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und ich vermisse es sehr. Vielen Dank an Familie Harris, dass wir unsere Zeit in Ihrem Haus verbringen durften, dass sie so liebevoll eingerichtet haben. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

8 Feb 2017 The Villa was of an exceptional standard, clean bright and beautifully maintained. We were a family of 7, three couples and one child. The house was easily able to cope with our number and also able to give us private space as individual couples. The facilities were exceptional from the fully equiped laundry to the heated pool and jaccuzi. The two large bedrooms had huge beds and his and hers split bathrooms. The two double bed rooms had a joint bathroom and were ideal for our family of three. Bathrooms were complete with fluffy towels and dressing gowns. The social areas were spacious luxurious and very well equiped from the kitchen/breakfast room with its large american fridge, pristine cooker and waste disposal and the lovely high ceiling lounge with its leather suite and entertainment centre. We were able to play table tennis and pool in the large well lit garage and walk within the estate around the green public area. Whilst relaxing on the patio one day two large grey heron like birds walked stately past the mesh security netting, what a delight. The property is within easy travel of all local ameneties such as Disney off International Drive, Kissemmee and Orlando and yet in an exclusive private setting. I would recommend this property most highly and we would have no hesitation going back.

We have stayed in a few villas in our time and this is by far the nicest. Upon arrival it was spotless and decorated to a high standard. The little touches of the towels and tea towels made into swans was a lovely feature. The pool area was clean, tidy and had plenty of chairs and beds. The hot tub was a bonus. We loved that it has two master bedrooms. This villa lacks nothing. The games room was used on a few occasions to wind down after a hectic day. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends. Any problems we had were dealt with straightaway by the management company. From booking to the holiday the owners were very helpful and quick to respond to questions. All information received was easy to understand and helpful.

From the moment we stepped in to this beautiful villa we were delighted with all the facilities it had to offer. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained both inside and out. It is conveniently situated for all the Disney parks and very accessible from the airport which is very welcome especially after a long flight. All the linen is provided and there was an abundance of beautiful white towels for indoors, waffle bath robes in both master bedrooms and also beach towels for swimming. The master bedrooms and en-suites were spacious and the beds very comfortable. My Grandson particularly loved what he called the' Disney Bedroom!' The villa is well stocked with televisions, cd players and Xbox etc. for those who have any energy left after a day 'doing' Disney. My family just wanted to swim, whereas I loved to put my tired body in to the Jacuzzi and lap up the last rays of the sun. We had occasion to call out the managing agents because of a bleeping alarm which required a new battery and the response for this was superb, the same day and included a polite little note explaining what had been done. We loved the peace, quiet and security of the gated development and would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to out friends or to use it again when we return. Wekiva Villa is the third different villa we have stopped at in Florida over the last six years. This has topped all of them by a mile (and w e have stopped in some nice ones!). We have just got back from 17 days in Florida, and had a lovely time at this villa. From the initial contact, all communications were excellent, and were given good, detailed instructions. As soon as we arrived, we knew that we were going to enjoy it there. With Florida villas, it's quite easy to tell which ones just have the basic minimum, and aren't particularly well looked after, and those which are cared for and well maintained. This is clearly one of the latter. Everything was well looked after and everything worked properly. Alan, the guy from the management company was friendly and helpful, and sorted a minor problem out quickly and efficiently. The villa itself is beautiful - especially the view from the the balcony of the upstairs master bedroom. The villa is south facing, meaning you get the sun for most of the day, and often, you get a beautiful sunset, behind the trees - even better from the upstairs balcony. The location is also good, especially if you are travelling towards Sea World, Universal, or International Drive, as you can avoid the bottleneck on I-4 between exits 64 and 68. It's also close to a Wal-Mart, Old Town and the Kissimmee Clearance centre (essential if you like cheap Nike or Converse stuff), and you don't pay the premium that the villas that advertise themselves as "5 mins from Disney" (usually not true!) do. We hope to go back in 2018, and if we do, this will be the first on our list. Our security deposit was paid back promptly. Thanks again for a lovely stay, and we're already looking forward to going back!

Perfectly located for easy access to all of the main attractions this villa ticked all the boxes for us. Situated close to the 192 and all the amenities it has to offer it was never an effort to go out and find something to eat or something to do. It was also close enough that when we had had enough in the parks it was only a short drive back to the sanctuary of the pool and jacuzzi. It is also plenty big enough for 2 families, offering space for all with various activities to keep the young ones entertained while the older ones are getting ready for a day or night out. We enjoyed our time here so much we have already booked for next year.

We have been vacationing in Orlando for many years and this is by far the most beautiful villa with every possible luxury, to make it the perfect holiday experience. It is the most gorgeous spacious home, beautifully decorated throughout with two huge master suites with luxury bathrooms (upstairs has a balcony whilst the other opens onto the beautiful pool area) as well as two additional twin bedrooms and lovely spacious living / kitchen areas and a great sky deck (complete with Xbox). The games room downstairs is fabulous too. This villa is excellently situated within a private gated very quiet community with beautiful lake walks and backing onto woodland. It is only a short drive to the parks and has many restaurants, supermarkets and some great crazy golf all close by. If you are looking for peace, tranquillity and luxury as well as easy access to all the parks and shopping malls / outlets, this is definitely the place to make it the perfect holiday.

We've just returned from a 3 week holiday in Florida having spent the first week at Wekiva Villa. The accommodation and facilities were absolutely superb and we would have no hesitation recommending this spacious property to others. From the minute we walked through the door we felt at home and relaxed. The location is close to the local supermarket and many restaurants as well as being only 20 minutes from the Disney parks. Our kids loved the games room in the garage where we spent many happy hours playing table tennis tournaments. The outside pool was the perfect temperature and was perfect for relaxing and having fun.

Wow!!! What can we say, great location, great villa everything in it you could ever need and more! We gave been coming to Florida for 20 years and this villa ticks all the boxes anyone would hope for. So clean, had an issue with a door and it was sorted within a couple of hours. We dont need to search for any others in the future as we will definitely have no problem returning. It is in a lovely conservation area, with wildlife around. We had a few visits from the neighbourhood raccoons and mongoose, and had a morning chat with Ruby the red bird!!!!! This villa was spacious, spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. The two master suites had huge comfortable beds and lovely big bathrooms. The villa had everything we needed and we loved the games room. The pool area got plenty of sun and was perfect for a relaxing day or afternoon. The villa was in a nice quiet and peaceful area away from all of the hustle and bustle but still an easy 20/30 minute drive away from the parks and large shopping malls. We would definitely recommend this villa and if we return to Florida we would love to stay here again!

Wekiva villa is excellently situated for access to the main Orlando parks (20 mins to Universal for example) yet situated in a private, gated, estate providing a restful home after all the days running around. The owners have provided everything one could possibly need to make your stay as perfect as you could wish for. The garage is stocked with activities and there are sufficient electronic amusements for those teenagers missing their Xbox/Wii etc. back at home. The home is very clean and furnished to a fabulous standard - I would hazard a guess that you will struggle to find better in any holiday villa in the area. Owners provide excellent directions so finding the villa is nice and easy after a long flight from the UK. Plenty of restaurants a few minutes drive away, but the kitchen is excellent and we found home catering a simple and enjoyable option. Have come away feeling really relaxed and kids wanting to return. Always a good sign!

This was our third villa holiday in Orlando and this villa was by far the most superior. The facilities are first class and the villa was cleaned to an immaculate standard. We fished in the lake catching wide mouthed bass and saw lots of wildlife. Wekiva villa is perfectly located for reaching all that Orlando has to offer. The booking process was easy and the information provided ensured that this was a hassle free holiday. I would recomend this villa to anyone without hesitation.

Easy to book - great communication - good directions. House was exactly as described. A clean and well stocked house. Short drive to supermarkets and restaurants, 10 minutes to disney and 15 to universal studios - nothing was far away. We had so much space, we didn't actually use the living/dining area or gallery at the top of the stairs. We made a full Christmas dinner in the kitchen - plenty of kitchen utensils. Would recommend to others and use again

Beautifully presented, this villa offered superb accommodation and facilities. It had everything for all ages to make the two weeks a comfortable and stress free environment and relaxing base for a holiday. All information was clear and understandable, nothing hidden, and Karen was very helpful.Directions from the airport were good plus additional information about where to find supermarkets and places of interest. The villa was immaculate on our arrival and the pool area was our favourite place to start and end the days. The ensuite bathroom was as big as our bedroom at home! We were ideally located for all the attractions and theme parks. This holiday villa exceeded all our expectations and we will definitely return. We have already recommended it to our friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Wekiva. 7th trip to Florida and best place we've stayed. The villa is in a great location - easy journey to the parks and shops but very quiet for relaxation afterwards. Getting there and getting in hassle free with the instructions given. It had all the facilities as promised - nice private pool and plenty to keep the family occupied inside when we needed a short break from the heat outside. A/C much appreciated. Enjoyed the table tennis and Premiership football on fox soccer a welcome surprise for the boys, USPGA golf for me! I would highly recommend this villa to anyone. Many thanks.

This villa was everything we had hoped for - and more. It was just as the description and photographs promised with all the equipment and facilities we could possibly need, from free wi-fi to golf clubs and mountain bikes. Cumbrian Lakes is very convenient for all the entertainment, shopping and eating on the 192 and is 20 minutes from Disney in one direction and Florida Mall in the other. Perfect!

The website views of this amazing villa were extremely accurate and brought a gasp of delight from all of us upon arrival. The accommodation itself was pristine as was the bed linen and towels. The property is very well appointed for both attractions and shopping (which we did a great deal of)! The beautiful pool offered a private and relaxing end to many busy days and there was a wide range of games/activities to keep my 9 year old grandson entertained. The two minor "maintenance" issues we had were dealt with promptly and pleasantly by the manangement company. A favourite restaurant was Manny's Chophouse which is about a 30 min drive but well worth a visit (used by many locals of the area) situated on US Highway 27. Would highly recommend this villa and hopefully we'll be returning soon.

What a wonderful villa. It is well located and provided a very peaceful base for our holiday. The information provided was very comprehensive and we had no problems during our stay. The villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The pool area was very spacious and we really appreciated the use of a washing machine and drier. Highly recommended!

The villa is in an excellent location, close enough to visit all the theme parks yet just far enough away from the main bustle to relax. The villa is situated in a quiet gated community, safe for the kids to go and explore the area. We found the villa easily using the directions provided and upon arrival there is a folder full of useful information ranging from villa info/telephone numbers to places to visit etc. Unlike many other villas, the pool area is not overlooked. We enjoyed many evenings relaxing by the pool under the covered lanai area to recover from the tiring days spent at the theme parks. We choose this villa because the 2 identical master bedrooms would save any family arguments about who had the better bedroom. We were not disappointed. The beds are huge! And the en-suite bathrooms are vast (my entire bathroom is probably the same size as the walk-in shower at the villa!) The villa has lots of different areas to sit/eat, so with 5 adults and 2 children we never felt on top of each other. The sat nav came in very handy. Whilst we were there we took a trip down to Miami Beach and spent a night there (well worth the travel) and the next morning went to the Everglades before popping into Key Largo to sample some Key Lime Pie before heading back to the villa. It is an exhausting trip and should have spent 2 nights in Miami Beach but we were running out of time. We also took a trip to Daytona Beach and the Kennedy Space Centre. The highlight of our holiday was swimming with manatees in the Crystal River (some of the money goes towards manatee conservation efforts). All in all, a fantastic holiday with a great villa as a base. My only regret is that we did not have more time to spend relaxing by the pool.

We had a wonderfull stay at this villa. The whole villa is equipped to a very hig standard, all of the bedrooms were superb and the Kitchen dining area left nothing to want. The pool was a great success with the whole family and was very well used, as was the games rooms. It is very well situated for getting to all of the main parks but far enough away to give you a break from them at the end of the day. I would recommed this villa to anyone.
