Lake Berkley - Luxury 7 Bed 4 Bath Villa with Games Room

Having stayed at several Florida villas over the years , this is one of the best. It was well equipped for a family holiday. It was some of the little things that really helped when we first arrived, like having salt and pepper in the cupboards, toilet tissue and dishwasher tablets for the first couple of days. The Walmart supermarket is just 2 minutes away. The location is ideal for all the Disney parks and 192 area. While younger family members spent a day at the theme parks, the ensuite fishing , with rods provided kept grandad happy. The wildlife on the lake to the rear was amazing, otters, deer, raccoons, ospreys were all spotted during our stay. The pool and spa were great for cooling off at the end of a busy day. It could benefit from a few extra pool inflatables or floats, though we are nit picking. If you would like a little time away from the theme parks, Kayaking along Shingle creek, approx. 5 minutes away is highly recommended as we saw gators in their natural habitat. Thank you Lyn for your help and easy communication, especially on the day the wife somehow managed to lock herself out of the house. We have been to Florida a fair few times but our holiday April 2018 was our best to date. This was largely down to the villa and it’s location. Roughtallys is spacious, homely and well kitted out. We enjoyed fishing on the lake behind the villa, use of the gym at the community resort and walks around the large lake. With a Walmart a short drive away and Disney & Universal a 15/20 minute drive away it, it really is in a great location. You drive through the community security gate and you really do get the wow factor. Grounds and gardens are well maintained and add to the fabulous welcome that Lake Berkley and Roughtallys has to offer. Lyn has been a dream to communicate with. Loved it sooooo much we have rebooked it :-)

Absolutely loved this villa after staying for 15 nights for the second time in 3 years. Beautiful, spacious with everything you need for a family stay. Location is ideal being a stones throw from Walmart and Disney Parks just a few minutes down the road. We stayed as a family of 12, 7 adults and 5 children and found it gave us the room needed not to be living out of each other's pockets. Lyn, the owner is always on hand with helpful information and made the process of booking and arriving faultless. I would strongly recommend this magnificent villa for any large group

I would like to take a moment to say this villa was a dream. I never experienced a one of a kind villa that was filled with a unique character and clean presentation for my guests. Everyone enjoyed their space and we have valued and respected the villa as it should be. The game room was used a lot because it was a lot of fun, and especially the pool. The little ones enjoyed it so much, especially the big unicorn. Also there was so much around the area like supermarkets, and a short time to get to Disney world. Also, I like the way the house was structured, everything was used in a great space. In other words, Lyn you have been a great host, and would love to consider this home again for my next trip in Florida. We come back here every year, the villa is always spotless and the location is perfect. The resort is privately gated and the club house pool in addition to the villa pool was an added bonus. We love sitting on the pool deck looking over the lake. All the amenities and comforts you could need in the villa and it's spotless!

We stayed in this Villa in June and loved every minute of it. Lynn was so helpful from taking our booking right up to the day we left for the airport. The villa catered for all our needs and was central for everything. It was in a great corner plot location and pool was not overlooked. Would definitely recommend. Xxx

We booked the villa with lyn and she was lovely with great communications.the day we arrived at the villa we could not believe how beautiful it was. it is so spacious and lyn has paid a lot of attention to detail in making our holiday as comfortable as possible for family's like ours.we had the most amazing holiday .the villa is perfectly situated with walmart being 5 mins walk away.so I can highly recommend this villa its just perfect.thank you lyn

9 of us stayed in the villa over Christmas and had a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday. From the booking with Lyn through to the checkout on our final day, everything was straightforward and easy. Our Christmas day was spent at the villa, taking advantage of the fishing rods and catching a few fish in the lake only a few yards behind the villa. We found the villa cleaned and prepared for our arrival, it felt very homely. Unlike many similar sized villas there was sufficient seating for us all to get around the telly and most importantly sufficient seats for us all to get around the kitchen table although it is fixed a bit close to the fridge and the cupboards so it gets a bit congested. Our stay at Christmas meant that we paid top-dollar for our stay, whilst we really enjoyed ourselves it didn't feel like good value for money. Whilst the fixtures, fittings & furnishings were perfectly satisfactory they would benefit from some upgrading. To summarise, a great holiday in a fine villa with the tiniest hint of disappointment from a fussy customer. You should go and make your own mind up!
