Sunset Lakes Villa | Luxury 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Vacation Rental

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at Sunset Lakes Villa. What a beautiful, clean welcoming villa and we made it our home from home for our stay. It has a kitchen well equipped for a self catering holiday. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are so comfy. Although this villa is quite close to Disney we did not do any of the Disney Parks this trip, but opted to explore different things to see and do and the villa was less than an hour to each. We covered Bok Tower Gardens, Winter Park scenic boat tour and a 22 mile cycle through West Orange Trail and Lake Apopka(a must to see the beautiful countryside). Bikes and Blades will set you up with everything you need. It was a pleasure to come home and jump into the beautiful pool to cool off. Ali(the gator) raised his head a few times in the lake, but kept his own side of the fence.It did not deter us having a spot of fishing as well in the lake. So therapeutic. Such a peaceful area. 10 days was not enough but there is always a next time. Personally I would not hesitate in advising anyone to book this villa. You will not be disappointed. Dealing with the owner Melvin was a breeze and was so prompt in answering e mails. Hope to return in 2026.

We have stayed in this villa 7 times and are never disappointed. We have our next trip booked December 2024. The location of this villa is perfect. you are only 10 minute drive to Animal Kingdom Park. The surrounding area is very close to 4 supermarkets which is very convenient. There are many choices also where you can either eat out or get takeaway . Sunset Lakes is a Gated community. The Villa is located in a small cul de sac this makes it very quiet and peaceful. As you enter the villa you truly feel at home. There is a lovely family picture of Melvin, Lesley and their family. Alot of thought has gone into this villa. The kitchen is spacious you can make a quick snack to eat round the pool right up to a full cooked meal. The living room has a lovely seating area which views the swimming pool fantastic watching the sun set. The tv is massive with every channel you can dream of especially great for watching sport. All the bedrooms have plenty of storage , and are well decorated .If you have small children the mickey room is so cute a childs dream. The pool area with the lake view is amazing .Melvin and Lesley are lovely genuine people. They take pride in their villa. They respond very quickly to emails. Dont hesitate in booking this villa .we cant wait for our next trip another chance to sit round the pool enjoying the best lake view ever. Fantastic place to unwind and recharge if youve had a busy day around the parks or doing some retail therapy. Prior to departure Melvin and Lesley send you an information pack. This includes driving instructions to get to the villa. The gate code and the villa code. Also the wifi code. Would recommend this villa it would suit everybody from people like us a couple or would be just as good for families.

I would recommend this villa to anyone close to Disney , Universal and 1 hour from Cocoa beach ? safe and well lite and security gate

I have stayed at a LOT of Villas in the Kissimmee area over the years - this is one of the best. Ideally situated for Disney etc - lots of places to eat just 5 min drive away - nice quiet community and the lake view from the deck is awesome. Melvyn & Lesley were brilliant at communication and dealing with the booking and always answered questions promptly. Don't hesitate - book now :-)

This was our 3rd trip to Florida, our second to Sunset Lakes gated community and our first to this lovely villa. The villa is spacious and bright and immaculately clean, the pool and lanai were the perfect size and the source of many hours of fun cooling down during the day, (heating the pool is not necessary during the summer) and relaxation after long days at the parks. The Disney parks are only 15 mins drive away door-to-door and the Universal parks are only a further 10 mins away. I would also like to add that Melvyn and Lesley were brilliant at keeping in touch and answering my constant barrage of questions, their quick responses were a large factor in renting this villa! no question was left unanswered! Would have no hesitation in renting this villa again and would definitely recommend staying here to friends, family and anyone else that would listen!

I have stayed in this wonderful villa 3 times and I honestly cannot praise it enough, the villa has a superb location close to all the attractions but peaceful and safe also, loads of lovely restaurants close by to suit every budget. The pool is one of the nicest in the area backing on to the lake which has lots of wonderful wildlife. It's very private and isn't overlooked. Inside the villa, the owners have thought of everything you need and it's packed with lots of homely personal touches, the owners are really nice people and are super efficient when it comes to answering any questions you may have from booking and all through your stay. We have just returned from our second Christmas in Melvin and Lesley’s wonderful home. We have stayed in many villas over the years and we would be hesitant to book any other now knowing that this one ticks all the box’s for us and may be disappointed elsewhere! The villa is wonderfully equipped with everything you need and more to enjoy your stay, our trips are 4 weeks in duration and we did not find anything missing that we could have needed. The villa is spacious and the beds so comfortable that sometimes it’s hard work to get up in the morning! The new remodelled kitchen has been done very well and of course as you would expect the villa is spotlessly clean on arrival, their cleaners do a superb job. The pool area is our children’s favourite and even the pool toys are included in the rental. The pool when heated is so warm and the Jacuzzi even hotter. The main reason we are drawn back to here is the location, Sunset lakes a wonderful gated community, it’s so close to Disney (less than 10 mins down the sherberth road) but at the same time the most peaceful place you could wish for, this really is a very quiet community. The views over the lake are stunning and our lasting memory is looking out over the lake in the mornings watching the mist rise from the lake. Melvin and Lesley are very informative and their management team are extremely pleasant and helpful, we have had no need to call with any problems but we met them on the road as we were going out one day and had a good chat. We will be returning really soon to this wonderful home.
