Veranda Palms Resort is located just off HWY192 in Kissimmee down 7 Dwarfs Lane. Being located just off HWY192 is a great location as you have access to lots of restaurants, supermarkets and stores. Once you leave Veranda Palms and head back on to HWY192 the first restaurant you will see is Applebee's which is a typical American diner style serving streaks, burgers, chicken and fish dishes as well having live sports on the big screen TV's. The relaxed atmosphere is ideal for families and causal dining any time of the day. Other nearby restaurants include Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill which as the name suggests serve BBQ favoured dishes all cooked over hickory logs, famous for there pulled pork and smokey favour this is a must when staying at Veranda Palms.
If golf is your thing then Veranda Palms is close to a number of championship courses including Falcon's Fire Golf Club which is recognised both regionally and nationally as one of the best public golf courses in the Orlando area. Designed by Rees Jones the front nine is generous from the tees but has plenty of bunkers to keep you focused, but the back nine is a different story with water on a number of holes and undulating greens testing your putting touch. Other courses near to Veranda Palms include Celebration Golf Club which was co-designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior and Junior and featured lush undulating fairways and greens and it a great test from the back tees. If mini golf is more your thing then just 2 minutes from Veranda Palms is Congo River Golf and is a great way to spend an evening with the family as anybody can do this.
For those who like to shop then Veranda Palms is well located with a number of outlet stores nearby including Lake Buena Vista which has a number of top brands such as Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland, Gap, Reebok, izod and many more.
Located only 15 minutes from Disney World, Veranda Palms it's a very easy drive along HWY192 and then follow the signs for Disney which will then give you all the options of the various parks from Animal Kingdom to Blizzard Beach and Downtown Disney. If it's SeaWorld and Universal Studios you are looking for then the drive from Veranda Palms is just as easy, head back to the HWY 192, turn right and then another right on to HWY535 (Vineland Road) and again follow the signs for SeaWorld and Universal Studios. Within a few days of staying at Veranda Palms you will know the area like the back of your hand!

Great Stay!
We had a nice stay at Josh's place. The house provides a convenient common area and kitchen, private bedrooms / bathrooms and a game room. The outside pool area and patio extends the space and is well maintained. The neighborhood was very quiet during our stay and worked perfectly to act as our homebase as we visited some of the parks like Universal and Discovery Cove during the day.

Amazing hosts!
We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quick responses to messages when we had questions. The house was well equipped, especially the kitchen, and it was great to have a starter pack for household essentials like laundry detergent and dishwasher tablets. The community pool was a great alternative pool for the kids (with slides and water fountains) and was never too busy. Would definitely recommend staying here for Disney as all the parks were within easy reach.

We had a great stay!
We had a great stay at Joshs place. There was a hiccup at check in with some items we requested (given it's high season, lots of demand, things do happen). However, our hosts were very responsive and quick to remediate the situation, which was amazing! We even received a special treat one morning!
The home was very comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. The heated pool and jacuzzi was especially convenient after a day of walking the parks. I would highly recommend this home and hosts and would definitely stay here again.
The hosts thought of everything and no details were spared for a perfect vacation.
***The Super Target close to the home has an amazing Disney section with lots of cool souvenirs and clothes***

Last Minute save!
We booked last minute for a place to stay before our cruise. The kids had so much fun in the game room and pool that they had wished we stayed longer. There was plenty of room for our 6kids. We will likely book in the future to stay longer!

Perfect for our Disney Vacation
Great location for the Disney Parks. Close to everything. Had multiple restaurants and stores close by even including a Sam's club. Loved the pool and hot tub!!! Enjoyed sleeping in, going in the pool, and then the parks. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was great!!! We all had our own bathroom! Brought floaties for the pool and appreciated the floaties already there to use. Pool depth was also perfect at 3 feet one side and 5 feet on the other. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! The snacks also were a surprise as we entered. Would definitely stay there again!!!

Very spacious, beautiful gated community
We simply had the best time at Josh/Jen/Matt’s home! We’re a family of 5 and had plenty of room, with each of our daughters having a room of their own. The pool and hot tub were ideal; we were in it every day and night. The house had everything we needed and super clean. Ideal location, too, about 25-30 minutes to Universal. Would definitely come back to this house if we’re ever back in the area—highly recommend!

Second time staying here
This is my family’s second time staying here. Absolutely love this place and the pictures are true to what is shown. This place is clean, very welcoming and the beds are SUPER comfy!! Josh was a very attentive host and communication was clear with a quick response time. The arcade was pretty awesome and the place truly felt like a home away from home. Definitely a spectacular place if you get a chance to book it.

Spotless and clean!
Josh’s place was spotless and very well sanitized. He communicated clearly throughout our stay and went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. Josh was considerate enough to let us stay a little longer due to our late flight, which we greatly appreciated.
The welcome gifts and treats for the family were such a thoughtful touch, and the kids loved them! The large swimming pool and hot tub made our evenings especially enjoyable, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the games room kept the children entertained for hours.
Overall, Josh exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely be booking again for a longer duration
