Overview
Enjoy the space and comfort of your own Florida home at beautiful Bahama Bay Resort, ideally located for Disney and Central Florida’s many attractions.
Our extensively upgraded 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo offers a bright, modern interior with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living space, laundry facilities and a particularly large screened lanai – perfect for breakfast outdoors or relaxing after a day at the parks.
Guests can enjoy four heated swimming pools, hot tubs, a splash pad, sports facilities, beautiful landscaped grounds, Tradewinds restaurant and bar, and a lakeside beach overlooking Lake Davenport.
The condo is personally owner-managed and maintained to a high standard, with free parking directly outside and contact-free smart-lock check-in.
A spacious, relaxing Florida base with everything you need to enjoy the parks – and plenty to enjoy when you’re not at them.
Facilities
Booking directly with us offers excellent value, with no resort fees and no parking fees added to your stay.
Included with your stay: four heated pools, hot tubs, splash pad, tennis and pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard, lakeside beach, resort grounds, Wi-Fi and free parking.
As this is an owner-direct booking, access to the resort-managed facilities — including the gym, sauna, Tradewinds Restaurant and clubhouse (business centre and library) — is not included.
A £200 refundable security deposit is required and is normally returned within one week of departure, subject to the usual property checks.
Living
New for 2024: Two large sofas seating up to 5 guests, with one doubling as a pull-out bed suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. Includes 4 bar stools at the breakfast bar for casual dining.
Enjoy entertainment on a 58" LED wall-mounted TV, connected to Spectrum with Roku access. Netflix is available via Roku (guests must use their own login).
Kitchen
The modern open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast before the parks to a relaxed family meal at home.
It features contemporary cabinetry, modern worktops and black appliances, including:
- Large fridge/freezer with filtered water and ice dispenser
- Range-style cooker
- Microwave
- Dishwasher
- Garbage disposal
- Air fryer
- Filter coffee machine
- Kettle and toaster
- Extensive range of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils
The extended breakfast bar also provides additional casual seating.
To help you settle in, we aim to provide a small starter supply of dishwasher tablets, a laundry pod and refuse bags.
Dining
The main dining area features a glass-top table seating six, with dedicated overhead lighting.
For more informal meals, there is additional seating at the breakfast bar, while the large screened lanai also provides a wonderful setting for outdoor dining.
Bedrooms
The condo comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across two bedrooms and the living-room sofa bed.
Master Bedroom
A spacious master suite with a king-size bed, wall-mounted TV, bedside tables with USB charging lamps, generous drawer storage and a walk-in closet.
The room also has access to a small private outdoor area.
The adjoining ensuite bathroom includes a corner bath, separate walk-in shower, WC and updated vanity area.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has two single beds, ample hanging space and drawer storage.
It has direct access to the second bathroom, which can also be accessed independently from the main living area.
Additional Sleeping
The living-room sofa converts into an additional bed suitable for two children or one adult.
Bathrooms
The condo has two full bathrooms, giving families and groups plenty of space to get ready.
The master ensuite features a corner bath, separate walk-in shower, WC and modernised vanity area.
The second bathroom can be accessed directly from Bedroom 2 as well as from the main living area. It includes a shower over the bath, WC and updated vanity.
Games Room
Bahama Bay offers plenty to enjoy away from the theme parks, including tennis and pickleball courts, basketball, shuffleboard and a separate children’s splash pad.
All facilities are available on a first-come basis, with a one-hour playing limit, if people are waiting.
Pool
Guests can enjoy four heated swimming pools around Bahama Bay Resort, each with sun loungers, shaded seating and nearby toilet facilities.
The pools also have relaxing hot tubs, you can now take your own food and drinks (no glass) to all pools
One of the quieter resort pools and hot tubs is conveniently located only around 200 yards from the condo, making it ideal for a quick swim or relaxing evening dip.
Whether you want a quiet morning by the water, somewhere for the children to play, or a poolside drink after a day at Disney, there are plenty of options around the resort.
Outside
One of our favourite features of the condo is the large screened lanai, which is more spacious than those found with many 2-bedroom properties at Bahama Bay.
It provides a wonderful extension of the living space and is ideal for enjoying Florida's outdoor lifestyle.
The lanai includes:
- Full-size outdoor dining table with seating for six
- Comfortable informal seating
- Peaceful views across the landscaped resort grounds
- Wide patio doors connecting directly to the main living area
It’s a lovely place for morning coffee, breakfast outdoors, an evening drink or simply relaxing after a day at the parks.
Outdoor barbecue grills are also available around the resort on a first-come, fair-use basis.
Resort Policy – No Smoking
Bahama Bay is a non-smoking resort.
No smoking is permitted inside the property or on the lanai.
A designated smoking area is available near the pool, behind the apartment.
Garage
Free parking is available directly outside the front door, making unloading luggage and returning from the parks particularly convenient.
On arrival, resort security will issue a parking permit linking your vehicle to the property.
Internet
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available inside the condo and throughout much of Bahama Bay Resort.
Full connection details are provided inside the property when you arrive.
Baby Equipment
A Pack 'n Play travel cot and high chair can be arranged on request.
Please let us know before arrival so that these can be organised through our local property managers.
Travel-cot bedding is not supplied, so guests wishing to use it for sleeping should bring suitable bedding.
Accessible
The condo has step-free access from outside and throughout the main accommodation.
However, the property has not been specifically adapted for wheelchair users or guests requiring accessible bathroom facilities.
If you have particular mobility requirements, please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to explain the layout in more detail.
Pets
Unfortunately, guest pets are not permitted under Bahama Bay Resort rules.
Location
Luxury condos to rent on the Bahama Bay Resort & Spa in Davenport, Florida minutes from Disney World.
In the Bahama Bay resort there are 4 pools in total, plus a Splashpad for younger guests. The larger ones are located at the Main reception building 400 yds to the right (where car pass should be obtained) and at the Tradewinds area.
Down at the Tradewinds Bar, there is a Pool, with the added benefit of a Bar, and the opportunity to purchase food. There is also a manmade beach with hammocks and seats, if you wish to sit on the sand, looking at Lake Davenport.

A cleaning fee is added to each booking, together with any applicable Florida taxes.

Highly recommend property and owner!
This was my first trip to Florida with my 20 year old son and we were on quite a tight budget. We thought this condo offered really good value for money, it had plenty of space, was really well equipped and it good condition.
Bahama bay was a smart complex with a tidy pool area with a jacuzzi, nice walks and only 25 mins drive from Disney and 35 mins from Universal.
Very helpful host answered all my questions.
We would happily stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Highly Recommended
We have been staying in this area of US27 for over 20 years. The location is ideal for us, handy to US192 and 417 or alternatively I4 (which has been much better this year in terms of congestion). Having always stayed in villas, Bahama Bay was a first for us. Superb value for money. Property very accessible. Clean and well appointed. Lanai perfect for morning sun. Beds extremely comfortable. Good shower. Appliances very new including an air fryer. Resort very well maintained. Great clubhouse. Pool quiet, less than 30 seconds from the property, very clean with great furniture. Smooth communication with owner. If I had flights confirmed for next year I would certainly have rebooked without considering any other properties. US27 in general has been enhanced by recent developments.

A perfect stay.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the condo at 106 Rum Run, Florida, and it was a truly exceptional experience. Having visited Florida several times, we can confidently say that this property at Bahama Bay Resort stands out as one of our favourites.
The condo was beautifully maintained and felt like a home away from home. It was equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and high-speed internet. The space was just perfect for our family of three – myself, my husband, and our teenage son. The bedrooms were spacious and cozy and provided a restful retreat after our busy days exploring Orlando.
One of the highlights of this condo was the communal pool situated immediately to the rear of the property, which was always peaceful, clean and inviting. It was a great place to relax and soak up the Florida sun. Additionally, the convenience of having parking right in front of the condo made our stay even more hassle-free, allowing us to easily come and go as we pleased.
The location of the property is fantastic. Bahama Bay Resort is ideally situated, providing easy access to all the major Orlando attractions, including Disney World. Despite its proximity to these bustling areas, the resort itself is a peaceful oasis, offering a perfect blend of convenience and tranquillity.
Moreover, the owner of the condo (Martyn) went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate all our needs made a significant difference. They were always available to answer any questions.
In summary, our stay at 106 Rum Run exceeded all our expectations. The condo was immaculate, well-equipped, and perfectly located within Bahama Bay Resort. The communal pool and convenient parking added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable stay in Florida.
