Overview
The Shire, West Haven, provides the ideal base for exploring the wonderful world of Disney only 15 minutes away. Close to Disney is Universal Studios, waiting to give days full of excitement and thrills.
An hour west you reach the beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, to the east Coca Beach and Daytona. Also near Coca Beach is Kennedy Space Centre and the chance to see a live space launch.
For the golfers there are numerous courses a short drive away. The closest is 5 minutes away at Champions Gate Country Club and next door is ChampionsGate with the Greg Norman designed National and International courses beside the David Leadbetter Academy and floodlight practice range. Other courses of note close by are Celebration, Mystic Dunes and Falcon Fire.
For the shoppers the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall, Prime Outlets, Mall at Millenia and Florida Mall are all within easy reach.
When it comes to eating many of the famous names like Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Chilis Millar Ale House and Bahama Breeze are all within easy driving distance

FORMAL LIVING ROOM
A quiet and relaxing area to sit and read or listen to your favorite music or even surf the Net on the computer. (The sofa also converts to a double bed if extra bed required.
FAMILY LIVING ROOM
Large open plan area featuring 55" 4K Smart TV with DVD player and Wii game console. Seating consists of 2 X 2seater reclining sofas and a large single seat recliner. There is also a warm glow electric fire for those cooler winter evenings. Patio doors open from this room onto the lanai/pool area.
Kitchen
The large well appointed kitchen provides all the modern appliances needed to prepare that quick snack or a gourmet meal when you have had enough of eating out!
The adjacent laundry room has a large modern washing machine and a tumble dryer for use during your stay.

Bedroom 1 (1st floor) King Master Suite. A large ensuite bedroom with walk in closet/dressing room. Bathroom has jacuzzi bath and seperate shower and his & hers sinks. Patio door opens onto south facing balcony overlooking pool and conservation area. Flatscreen smart TV c/w cable TV. Ceiling fan for those balmy nights complements the air conditioning.
Bedroom 2 (1st floor) Second King Master Suite. A generous sized ensuite bedroom. Flatscreen TV with cable channels. Ceiling fan for those balmy nights complements the air conditioning.
Bedroom 3 (1st floor) Twin Bedded room, suitable for children and has seperate bathroom adjoining. TV/DVD with cable channels. Ceiling fan.
Bedroom 4 (Ground Floor) Queen bed. Suitable for older couple. Has seperate adjoining bathroom. TV/DVD with cable channels.
All bed linen, bathroom towels and pool towels supplied.

Games Room
GAMES ROOM The garage has been converted to a games room complete with full size pool table, air hockey and table football. Tennis rackets and balls are provided for use at the Clubhouse tennis courts.
Pool
POOL DECK The pool deck is fully screened,private and overlooks the Conservation area to the rear of the villa. The pool and jacuzzi can be heated at an additional cost and provide a relaxing alternative to those busy days at the Parks or shopping. The pool deck is south facing so benefits from getting the sun all day.
As a guest at our villa you have access to the onsite private Clubhouse with large pool,gym and tennis courts.
Outside
Our villa is located in a gated community in The Shire,West Haven and is the 3rd property from the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooks a large conservation area to the rear.
Garage
Double garage has been converted to games room.
Internet
High speed internet & WiFi is provided with computer and printer for guest use
Baby Equipment
Cot is available which is kept in Bedroom1 dressing room. There is also a child safety gate available for the access at top of stairs to 1st floor.
A high chair and a baby walker are also available for use.
Accessible
Ground floor is wheelchair accessible and the bathroom adjacent to the groundfloor queen bedroom has hand rails at the toilet and bath/shower.

If golf is your thing then all our luxury vacation rentals on the Shire at West Haven are within minutes of some of the best courses in Orlando.
The nearest course is Champions Gate which currently offers two Greg Norman designed layouts called the National and International with a third course called the Country Club at Champions Gate now open.
Next would be Highlands Reserve which is less than 5 minutes away and has only one water hazard so a great place to start before heading to one of the tougher Greg Norman courses.
Other golf courses within 15 minutes are Southern Dunes and Mystic Dunes all of which are great layouts and a challenge for golfers of every skill level.

Driving Distances from the Shire at West Haven to the Orlando Theme Parks
We have added the actual driving distances to all the main Orlando theme parks below, these are not the distances to the main gate which most people quote, as this would reduce the distance, but to the actual car park for each attraction. Most of the jouney to the parks are on highways or interstates driving between 55-65 MPH so it's pretty quick to get to all the parks.

While staying on the Shire at West Haven you will probably be looking for nearby restaurants. The closest place (less than 5 minutes) would be Champions Gate Village which has a number shops, gas stations and restaurants. We have put together a list of Champions Gate Restaurants so you know what's available.

Rental rates additional information
Renters must be at least 25years old to book the villa.
Minimum stay 7 nights (contact the owner if you require 5/6 nights)
A 20% deposit(non refundable) is required to secure dates. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. If booking within 8 weeks of arrival date full payment required with booking.
Pool heating is recommended between October and April at additional cost of £20/night. IMPORTANT NOTE - In the event of very unusual adverse weather conditions, pool heaters do not operate effectively when air temperature is below 55 degrees.

Amazing Villa Stay!
We had an amazing stay! I am still missing waking up and sipping coffee on the balcony. I am missing the all day sun on the pool, the pool heating was an amazing feature! The villa came with everything you think you need in a villa and more! The beds were extremely comfortable, with ample bedding and towels provided. Great location and close to shops and restaurants! We will definitely be returning to this villa on our return to the USA!

Fantastic private family villa in Champions Gate
We spent 4 weeks staying in this villa and it was truly a home from home. The villa was very clean, well equipped and maintained and very spacious, we really particularly enjoyed the 2 living room areas. Richard and the management team were very responsive and dealt with the minor repairs we reported immediately.
The pool area is quiet and private and gets the sun all day. The location is close to all the Champions Gate amenities and felt safe. We used the community pool and gym too which are a 6-7 minute walk away. We would definitely recommend this villa and hope to return some time!

Beautiful Villa, Perfect Location
This is our 3rd time now in this Villa and we absolutely love it. We stayed in this villa for two weeks during the Summer Holidays (August 22). It’s absolutely gorgeous inside, so well looked after, very clean and all of the rooms were amazing sizes. (We had 5 of us all together). The pool area was lovely with towels to accommodate and is enclosed to keep the wildlife out and has a lovely view whilst sunbathing. Inside there is a games room located in the garage and large screen TV should you choose to relax inside. The location is perfect and close to Disney (approx 10minsdrive) with Universal about a 30min drive depending on traffic. There are plenty of local supermarkets around as well as places to eat, we especially like Millars and Crackerbarrel, and there are plenty of fast food restaurants to cater for everyone. When we decide on booking Florida for our holidays we don’t even bother to look elsewhere as we love this Villa and location and the management have been so easy to communicate with everytime. Thanks

great villa
This is a great villa on a very quiet complex.Plenty of room and all the facilities to make your holiday special.We particularly liked the extended seating area on the balcony from the main bedroom.Nice pool and BBQ .One of the nicer villas (top 3) we've used over on our many visits to florida over the years.Would definitely stay here again .Owner very communicative and quick to respond to enquiries.
