Overview
The Shire, West Haven, provides the ideal base for exploring the wonderful world of Disney only 15 minutes away. Close to Disney is Universal Studios, waiting to give days full of excitement and thrills.
An hour west you reach the beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, to the east Coca Beach and Daytona. Also near Coca Beach is Kennedy Space Centre and the chance to see a live space launch.
For the golfers there are numerous courses a short drive away. The closest is 5 minutes away at Champions Gate Country Club and next door is ChampionsGate with the Greg Norman designed National and International courses beside the David Leadbetter Academy and floodlight practice range. Other courses of note close by are Celebration, Mystic Dunes and Falcon Fire.
For the shoppers the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall, Prime Outlets, Mall at Millenia and Florida Mall are all within easy reach.
When it comes to eating many of the famous names like Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Chilis Millar Ale House and Bahama Breeze are all within easy driving distance

FORMAL LIVING ROOM
A quiet and relaxing area to sit and read or listen to your favorite music or even surf the Net on the computer. (The sofa also converts to a double bed if extra bed required.
FAMILY LIVING ROOM
Large open plan area featuring 55" 4K Smart TV with DVD player and Wii game console. Seating consists of 2 X 2seater reclining sofas and a large single seat recliner. There is also a warm glow electric fire for those cooler winter evenings. Patio doors open from this room onto the lanai/pool area.
Kitchen
The large well appointed kitchen provides all the modern appliances needed to prepare that quick snack or a gourmet meal when you have had enough of eating out!
The adjacent laundry room has a large modern washing machine and a tumble dryer for use during your stay.

Bedroom 1 (1st floor) King Master Suite. A large ensuite bedroom with walk in closet/dressing room. Bathroom has jacuzzi bath and seperate shower and his & hers sinks. Patio door opens onto south facing balcony overlooking pool and conservation area. Flatscreen smart TV c/w cable TV. Ceiling fan for those balmy nights complements the air conditioning. Suite incledes full sized baby crib. Guest safe with small fire proof bag included.
Bedroom 2 (1st floor) Second King Master Suite. A generous sized ensuite bedroom. Flatscreen TV with cable channels. Ceiling fan for those balmy nights complements the air conditioning.
Bedroom 3 (1st floor) Twin Bedded room, suitable for children and has seperate bathroom adjoining. TV/DVD with cable channels. Ceiling fan.
Bedroom 4 (Ground Floor) Queen bed. Suitable for older couple. Has seperate adjoining bathroom. TV/DVD with cable channels.
All bed linen, bathroom towels and pool towels supplied.

Games Room
GAMES ROOM The garage has been converted to a games room complete with full size pool table, air hockey and table football. Tennis rackets and balls are provided for use at the Clubhouse tennis courts.
Pool
POOL DECK The pool deck is fully screened,private and overlooks the Conservation area to the rear of the villa. The pool and jacuzzi can be heated at an additional cost and provide a relaxing alternative to those busy days at the Parks or shopping. The pool deck is south facing so benefits from getting the sun all day.
As a guest at our villa you have access to the onsite private Clubhouse with large pool,gym and tennis courts.
Outside
Our villa is located in a gated community in The Shire,West Haven and is the 3rd property from the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooks a large conservation area to the rear.
Garage
Double garage has been converted to games room.
Internet
High speed internet & WiFi is provided with computer and printer for guest use
Baby Equipment
Cot is available which is kept in Bedroom1 dressing room. There is also a child safety gate available for the access at top of stairs to 1st floor.
A high chair and a baby walker are also available for use.
Accessible
Ground floor is wheelchair accessible and the bathroom adjacent to the groundfloor queen bedroom has hand rails at the toilet and bath/shower.

The nearest course is Champions Gate which currently offers two Greg Norman designed layouts called the National and International with a third course called the Country Club at Champions Gate now open.
Next would be Highlands Reserve which is less than 5 minutes away and has only one water hazard so a great place to start before heading to one of the tougher Greg Norman courses.
Other golf courses within 15 minutes are Southern Dunes and Mystic Dunes all of which are great layouts and a challenge for golfers of every skill level.

Driving Distances from the Shire at West Haven to the Orlando Theme Parks
We have added the actual driving distances to all the main Orlando theme parks below, these are not the distances to the main gate which most people quote, as this would reduce the distance, but to the actual car park for each attraction. Most of the jouney to the parks are on highways or interstates driving between 55-65 MPH so it's pretty quick to get to all the parks.

While staying on the Shire at West Haven you will probably be looking for nearby restaurants. The closest place (less than 5 minutes) would be Champions Gate Village which has a number shops, gas stations and restaurants. We have put together a list of Champions Gate Restaurants so you know what's available.

Rental rates additional information
Renters must be at least 25years old to book the villa.
Minimum stay 7 nights (contact the owner if you require 5/6 nights)
A 20% deposit(non refundable) is required to secure dates. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. If booking within 8 weeks of arrival date full payment required with booking.
Pool heating is recommended between October and April at additional cost of $25/night. IMPORTANT NOTE - In the event of very unusual adverse weather conditions, pool heaters do not operate effectively when air temperature is below 55 degrees.

Definitely a Slice of Paradise
This was our second visit to this villa. We loved our first visit so much we booked again. The villa is beautiful, well equipped with everything you need, lovely quiet location and not overlooked pool which gets the sun all day. Tiffany and Ross bought the villa last year and have made a number of changes which have enhanced what we experienced 15 months ago. Can't recommend this villa enough. Great communication with Tiffany during booking process too.

The name fits our stay
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this villa and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we booked, Tiffany was so friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions, making everything completely stress-free.
The villa itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and felt like a real home from home. It was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed, and it was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into making guests feel comfortable.

A True Slice of Paradise ??
A Slice of Paradise provided us with the perfect holiday home away from home. The villa was lovely, welcoming, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a great stay.
The pool area and games room were fantastic, and there was more than enough space for everyone. The beds were super comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep after busy days at the parks. The location was excellent and in easy to reach of all the attractions.
We loved the open-plan living space, and the small office desk area was a really thoughtful addition. There were plenty of extra towels, and everything you could possibly need was provided.
The balcony off the master bedroom is a fantastic added bonus, where I enjoyed my morning coffee with a lovely view.
Thank you, Tiffany and Ross, for a wonderful stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend A Slice of Paradise and would happily stay again!

Fantastic Holiday Home
We stayed at the lovely home under the prior owner and loved it. We returned April 2026 and love it even more. Tiffany was so helpful from initial contact through the whole rental. This is the perfect house for us on location near Champions Gate on a quiet gated community. Not overlooked, spacious and peaceful. Nice residents either side, so always quiet away from holidaymakers! The pool is the best we have ever had on a stay, being a nice size and with the pool heat it was nice and warm in the evenings too. Updated with nice seating undercover outside by the pool . We will definitely be back again as this house is perfect for us. Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing stay - you will not be disappointed
Recently stayed in this wonderful property in November 2025. From the initial enquiry communication with Tiffany and Ross was amazing - so responsive and welcoming.
The property is everything we could have wished for and even better that the pictures suggest. Great space and finished to a high standard and the outside space is fabulous - not overlooked and quite private. Area is nice and quiet and close to all amenities.
Would absolutely recommended this property and we're already looking into dates for our next stay

This vacation home truly is a "Slice of Paradise"
Wow... my family recently stayed in this gorgeous, very clean, and spacious vacation home in late July. The owners have thought of everything and have made the atmosphere and decor perfect for the ultimate getaway... no detail was overlooked. The outdoor space is huge and relaxing and the drive to Disney is extremely close. This home is perfect for multiple families as it is very large and accommodating. I am booking next year's stay already and hope to make a stay in this home a annual tradition!

Fantastic luxury villa
Stayed 14 Days in Oct 2024. The house is the best we have stayed in over the last 20 years around Orlando/Disney. Beautifully decorated, spacious and open plan, so is great for a family holiday. Lovely outlook from the balcony. Kitchen very well equipped and great decking/pool and spa. Quiet neighbourhood, and house not overlooked. Thoroughly recommend staying here. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you to Richard for all his help during our stay, he could not have been more helpful and it was a pleasure to rent his lovely house.

Real home from home
We had the most perfect stay in this beautiful extremely well appointed villa, It had everything we could possibly need. Extremely comfortable beds. The villa is is a quiet gated community not overlooked, south facing pool. the club house has a well equipped gym. We had a last minute airline disaster and Richard was so responsive and accommodating to our needs.thank you. We would highly recommend

Wonderful Florida Stay
We’ve been back a few days after staying in this great villa. Seventh time to Florida and one of the best villas we’ve stayed in. Extremely well equipped but also great quality towels and bedding. Very comfortable beds and the ground floor bedroom was great for my elderly mother in law. Great sunny pool that’s not overlooked. The area has great links to the I4 and the restaurants in Championsgate are alway quieter than the ones on the 192. When I return I’ll definitely be looking to book again. Richard was a pleasure to deal with so thanks again.

A wonderful place to stay
Having owned our own villa some 25 years ago we appreciate the constant investment needed to keep everything perfect. This villa was excellent, in fact we would say this is the best villa we have rented. Great location, superb pool and a holiday for everyone to remember
