Championsgate Restaurants

Chili’s Grill and Bar – Chili’s at Champions Gate offers a Tex-Mex style of cuisine with all-day BOGO happy hour for bar drinks! Prices range from $10 for a burger or enchiladas to $20 for the 10oz Sirloin with honey-chipotle glazed shrimp. Other main entrees include fajitas, burgers, steaks and salads. If you have room after your main, then try the molten chocolate cake, it’s a classic! The bar area is open seating, so no need to wait just find a seat and sit down. Here is a link to the Chili's Menu so you can see what's available, my favourite is the Fajitas trio!!

Miller’s Ale House – The Miller’s menu can be a little bamboozling when you sit down, as they have so many different offers including daily specials for both food and drinks. Entrees are large and can often be shared, house favourites include Ossobuco (a marinated pork shank slow cooked until fabulously tender), Jambalaya, Baby Back Ribs, as well as burgers, salads, seafood and steaks. The Miller's Ale House menu is huge! Prices range from $8 for a flatbread to $20 for an 8oz filet mignon!  The bar area is open seating, so no need to wait if there are spaces, and drinks around the fire pit is a real winner!

Millers Ale House also offer an early bird special menu which runs from 3-5pm Monday thru Thursday. This offers 8 entrees for just $8.99 which is amazing value, my favourite is the Cajun Chicken Pasta or the Chicken Parmesan.

Tijuana Flats Champions Gate | Chicken Quesadilla

Update July 2017: We recently visited Tijuana flats at Champions Gate and were really impressed with the concept and what they offered. Not being that familiar with Tex-Mex food it was a sharp learning curve as they have a lot of options on the menu.  I went for a Chipotle Chicken Burrito with all the toppings, Jalapeño's, onion, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese. You can then add refried, black beans or no beans and rice it's up to you. There are a number of sides you can add but all meals come with chips (crisps in the UK) which are great for dipping in the various sauces.

Tijuana Flats Hot Bar

Speaking of sauces we loved the Hot Bar which is a selection of chilli sauces you add to your meal. The Tijuana flats Hot Bar has sauces from very mild to blow your head off hot. Each bottle has a label on to tell you how hot it is (Heat Scale). Of course I had to try the hottest which is Death wish on the heat scale and they aren't kidding when they say it's hot. I had the smallest drop of Iguana En Fuego on the end of my finger and it burned!!

Whatever you choose Tijuana Flats offers reasonably priced good fast food. You can dine in or takeaway, and they have plenty of seating inside and out. We only visited at lunch time but could have easily gone there for a quick dinner. They offer some similar options to Chilli's across the road but at a cheaper price.

VR360 Top Tip: The portions are fairly large so two people could easily share a Burrito, you can always order more if you are still hungry as the service is pretty quick!

Subway – located at the end of the Publix row of shops offers subs and salads made to order, here you can eat in or out.

McDonalds / Wendy’s / Dunkin’ Donuts – I’m sure I don’t need to explain these, but I would stress that when in America, large means LARGE!

Please let us know which is your favourite Champions Gate restaurant and why?

We personally like Miller's ale house as they have lots of drinks and dinner specials throughout the week. Chili's is also good as they offer a dinner for 2 for only $22 which gives you an appetiser and two main courses. It's not the full menu but they do offer a good selection and the salads are awesome.

If you run out of Champions Gate restaurants to eat at then why not try one of the over 50 restaurants along HWY192 in Kissimmee which is around 10 minutes away via I4.
