Central Florida Secure Resort

To help give guests more confidence in booking Orlando vacation homes on a number of the larger communities the VRMA (vacation rental management association) in association with CFVRP (central Florida vacation rental professionals) have set up the Secure Resort label.

What is the Secure Resort label?

The Secure Resort label is a set of guidelines that each community sets for guests and also enforces if there are any problems.

Currently we have the Windsor Hills Resort, Vista Cay, Storey Lake Resort and the Retreat at Champions Gate signed up to this program.

These help keep the resort safe and a nice environment for families so you know you will have a great time without any anti social behaviour.

  • No Unauthorised Parties or Events
  • Quiet Time (after 11pm)
  • Zero Tolerance for illegal drugs
  • Roving Patrol to monitor the community
  • Gated Access
  • Surveillance Cameras
  • Registered Guests Only
  • Do not exceed max occupancy of the home

Unfortunately over the summer months there were a few incidents at Orlando vacation rentals due to the Covid-19 restrictions with bars and clubs being closed. Some clever people thought it would be ok to have large social gatherings at a rented villa!!

As you can imagine the owners and neighbours of these homes were not impressed. This is why the Secure Resort label was introduced to help kerb this happening.

With Florida now into Phase 3 of the reopening process this means that all bars and restaurants can go back to 100% capacity if they choose. This will most stop any future problems and get things back to the way they used to be.

But with the secure resort rules in place you know it will be doubt with quickly if this should happen again.
