HIGHLANDS RESERVE GOLF
For a golf vacation that takes advantage of Orlando's beautiful weather along with the best golf courses located close by, then look no further! Right here at Highlands Reserve,
Set atop one of the highest areas in the region, Highlands Reserve is not your typical Florida golf course. This championship design by Mike Dasher gives you tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit of old Florida with citrus trees dotting the countryside.
Large, fast, undulating greens make this course challenging and fun for all levels of golfers. Water comes into play on just one hole and Mike Dasher's design has cleverly utilized the natural wasteland areas.

Living
There are two spacious living areas comprising of a large open plan living room with fully equipped kitchen and dining nook. This room enjoys wonderful views of the outside space and has reclining leather sofas to enjoy the large TV
The second living area - with large TV, also enjoys views of the fabulous golf course and is an idea area to chill out with a book or a glass of wine.
The adjacent dining area will accommodate your group to enjoy meals together.
Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen is large and open to the family room. There is an American fridge freezer with ice and water dispenser, dishwasher and electric oven and hob.
There is plenty of dinnerware and glasses, both for inside and unbreakable ones for outside use.
There is a filter coffee maker and a pod machine, a blender, a mixer and lots of cooking equipment to cook up a feast or a snack.
Dining
Meals can be enjoyed outside on the pool deck, or in the formal dining area, or dining nook!
The large infrared professional gas BBQ is included in your rate (provided you clean it after use ready for our next guests, there is no additional charge).
Our electric awning gives shade during the day and of an evening the lights under the canopy makes for a magical dining experience in the Florida outdoors.
Bedrooms
Currently with 1 king master suite with access to pool area - large ensuire bathroom with separate shower and tub and walk in closet. Adjacent to this is a twin room which shares the master via separate access and is adjacent to half bath,
on the other side of the home is 1 king room with adjacent shower room in separate wing off the main living area, with door pool deck. in a separate section off the hallway are the remaining two bedrooms with jack and jill bathroom - these two rooms are flexible and can be set as king beds or two twins as required.
All bedrooms feature comfortable beds, luxury linens and Smart TV with Roku channels
Bathrooms
The main master bedroom has a large bathroom with separate vanities, a walk in shower and a soaker tub.
There is a half bath with toilet and basin which serves as a bathroom to the twin, alongwith access to the main ensuite.
The shower room to the other king room has a walk in shower and single vanity.
The Jack and Jill bathroom between the twin and queen room has a double vanity and a privacy door to access the bath with shower over and toilet.
Games Room
There is an outdoor ping pong table to enjoy on the pool deck and a newly installed fully airconditioned game room with pool table, air hockey and darts
Pool
Our large pool area with lagoon style pool and inground spa is a wonderful private oasis.
Situated on an end of cul de sac plot the home has plenty of room all around and hedges provide privacy between homes too. The 180 degree South and West facing views over the course offer wonderful sunsets over the distant trees.
We have plenty of comfortable furniture to enjoy the Florida outdoors - a seating area with chairs and footstools, a small bistro set idea for outdoor board games or a glass of wine! 6+ sun loungers, large diing table and chairs.
There are handrails in to the pool and spa and the pool has a shallow section at one end ideal for sitting in the shallow water.
The pool and spa can be heated at an extra charge and the spa can be heated separately if you would like to enjoy this during the summer evenings when the pool heat is not required.
Outside
Outside the pool deck is very large (around 60 feet wide!) It has open views to the rear over the golf course course - you can relax under the covered lanai, swim in the beautiful pool or relax on our comfortable seating (pictures of new furniture coming soon!) - our spacious cul de sac lot gives plenty of privacy, peace and tranquility.
The large lagoon pool with shallow sitting section at one end, can be heated on request and has a spa tub with waterfall feature. If it gets too warm there is a large covered lanai with fan to keep you cool.
The new pool handrails allows for easy access into the pool and spa.
The outdoor ping pong table provides fun for all the family

Baby Equipment
We have a Crib and pack and play available and two high chairs - if you require a 2nd crib we can arrange this.
Accessible
Property is all on one level, please note there is a step over threshhold over patio doors and into the shower (not roll in) A shower stool and grab handle can be provided. One step into property at front door.
Pets
We accept one or two dogs by prior arrangement. Doggy blankets are provided for our furniture, there is a small additional charge.
Location
Highlands Reserve villas located in Davenport, Florida just off HWY27. This luxury villa rental, golf course community is a great place from which explore all the world famous Orlando attractions. As you enter the community you drive down the main tree lined Highlands Reserve Blvd and pass the clubhouse on your right. Various golf holes can also be seen from either side of the road. The community also has a children’s play area. NO SERVICE FEE
The Highlands Reserve villa community is split into seven subdivisions. Most have golf related names you will recognise including, Troon, Belfry and Gleneagles. If the names inspire you to enjoy a round of golf, then tee times can be booked at the clubhouse. The course is ideal for golfers of all levels. With wide open fairways, undulating greens and only one water hazard on the tenth hole.
For a different golfing experience why not try the Country Club at Champions Gate or Ridgewood Lakes both of which are nearby. Other local courses include Southern Dunes, Reunion Resort (3 courses) and Champions Gate (2 courses). So many options so little time!
If you are in Orlando to visit the theme parks then Highlands Reserve is a great location with Disney World's main gate only 15 minutes away. Whilst, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld are around 25 minutes away by car.
Fancy a day at the beach, no problem, Highlands Reserve is located about an hour from either coast. Cocoa Beach on the Atlantic is great for surfing. Whilst, Clearwater Beach on the Gulf Coast is ideal for swimming or relaxing in the calm warm waters, which live up to it’s name!
Highlands Reserve Florida Villas in Davenport
All our Highlands Reserve Davenport villas are located around 35 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO). Sanford (SFB) and Tampa (TPA) airports are just over an hour away. British Airways and Virgin Atlantic fly direct to Orlando and Tampa along with a number of other airlines. Most tour operators like Thomson fly into Sanford airport.
A great advantage of staying on Highlands Reserve is the size of the lots the villas are built on. Having oversized lots means the homes are not right on top of each other, which you often see on other Orlando villa communities.
Guests come back year after year to Highlands Reserve making it one of the most popular villa communities in Orlando. With its great location, excellent golf course and larger than normal homes, it's easy to see why!
Highlands Reserve Villas: Driving Distances to the Theme Parks
We have added the actual driving distances to the main Orlando theme parks. These are not the distances to the main gate which most people quote, but to the car park for each attraction.
Most journeys to the parks are via highways or the main I-4 Interstate. Driving at speeds of 55-65 MPH makes it quick to get there, and all attractions are well sign posted.

Shops and Restaurants near Highlands Reserve
Highlands Reserve is located along HWY27 in Davenport. Right next door is Berry Town Center which has lots of restaurants from Applebee's Bar & Grill, Paddy Wagon Irish Pub, IHOP, Adlers Burgers, Mia Pizza, Sundays Fish and Chips as well a number of takeaways.
There is also a Publix supermarket for all your groceries and a couple of banks. On the corner just in front of Berry Town Center is a Circle K gas station.
Across the road are a number of new businesses including a Starbucks, 7 Eleven store / gas station, Twistee Treat ice cream, Jersey Mike's Subs and the recently opened (October 2024) Giovanni's Pizzeria & Kitchen which is great.
If you drive out of the main Highlands Reserve community entrance and then go straight across the lights then turn left they have added a number of other new businesses including a car wash, dental care and a number of fast food restaurants including Wendy's, Chipotle Mexican Grill and Mc Donalds. There is a also a Dollar Tree and Dollar General and a CVS pharmacy so you are pretty much covered for everything you need within 2 minutes from the Highlands Reserve community.

Pool Safety Fences
Most of our Florida villas will either have door alarms on any exterior door that leads to the pool area or a pool safety fence surrounding the pool. Some even both, we have put together a blog post and video showing you how to use the fence. If there are no children in your party then you can take it out and rolling it up in the corner if you prefer but please put it back when you leave the villa, ready for the next guests.

Fantastic villa
3 generations of our family stayed in this beautiful villa for 3 weeks, plenty of activities for the 16 year old with the pool table and table tennis and excellent WiFi (thank goodness) the 3 year old spent most of her time in the pool, we took a pushchair and baby monitor but we could have easily used the ones supplied by Pat at the villa, the villa looks better than the pictures if that is possible, this was our 4th visit to Florida, first time in this villa but we would definitely stay again, Pat was a perfect host, answering queries and letting us change our dates by a couple of days due to changes in flights, we also had late check out and the whole experience was perfect. We had to contact the management team about the pool and they got back to us straight away and the pool guy came the next day. Definitely book this villa you won't be disappointed. Highway 27 and the 192 have lots of fantastic restaurants and if you take Avalon road to Disney it's alot quicker.

We stayed in this villa for a month and didn’t want to leave! The house is beautiful and was perfectly clean, we loved the hudge pool area , the game room and the location.
