Facilities
Our local management company is on hand to look after you during your stay. As the owners we like to get to know our guests and help them in any way we can by keeping in touch quickly and answering any questions you may have about the house or the area to make sure you get the most from your stay in our beautiful home.
This home is in a superb location, around 10 miles from Walt Disney World! Seaworld and the Aquatica Water Park are around 15 miles away, Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay Water Park about 21 miles. Even closer to home you are just five minutes from the main I-4 Interstate and Champion’s Gate, with its supermarket (Publix) and numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Being Florida, golf is always going to be close by and it is only 5 miles away at Posner Park where you will find a movie theatre and a rapidly expanding shopping complex.
Whether you are hitting the theme parks and all the other incredible entertainment and activities the area offers, or whether you are here to simply relax and take in the sun, this property has everything covered. Also, whilst dragging yourself away from the property could be hard, the magnificent clubhouse and resort pool area are just a short walk or drive and park right outside
Solterra is a fully-gated community with a 24-hour manned gate. Guests staying in this incredible property benefit from complimentary access to and use of the resort’s excellent amenities. The 5,600 square-foot clubhouse, which includes a gym and pool tables, is part of a complex that comprises a beautiful beach-entry free-form heated pool with a water slide, a lazy river, a large spa/hot tub, poolside cabanas and plenty of loungers, as well as the Café Sol Bar and Grill serving tasty snacks, meals and drinks. Additionally, guests can also enjoy the tennis courts, beach volleyball court, basketball, a children’s playground and a walking trail too. Please note the Community make a one time charge of $35-45 to use the community facilities during your stay - this is included in your rate and we will refund to you.

As you enter your home from home, you are greeted by the grand 2-story foyer and the large, open-concept living space complete with a spacious island Kitchen and dining area so everyone can gather comfortably for meals or relax watching TV.
The luxuriously appointed living area, one of two in the home, features a large 65” tv with comprehensive entertainment package and comfortable leather sofas.
As you head to the second floor you will find a spacious light filled room with a generous seating area and large 65” TV and poker table, this second sitting room offers family and guests plenty of space to enjoy their favourite activities, or simply relax!
Kitchen
Well-equipped kitchen featuring 2 large stainless steel refridgerators, cooker, microwave with extractor fan, dishwasher, 2 toasters, coffee maker, blender. Large granite island with 4 bar stools
Plenty of Dinnerware and glasses, including outdoor unbreakable for use round the pool area, and pans/equipment to cook up a snack or a feast. You wont find yourself short of anything! There is a large pantry and even a cooler if you want to take food out.
We have a filter coffee and pod machine, filter coffee machine, electric kettle, 2 x 4 slice toaster, blender, hand mixer.
We provide a starter pack of cleaning bits, washing machine tabs, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, toilet rolls (as a self catering home, please replenish to your own needs when these run out!)
There are two utility rooms, one on each floor of the house with large washing machine and dryer. Ironing facilites are also provided
We do not provide any condiments or foodstuffs for health reasons.
Dining
The large dining table can seat all the family/friends to gather together - with more room at the breakfast bar.
If your group is a small one, don’t worry, our home is very homely and comfortable for smaller groups as well as large.
You can also dine outside under the shade of the lanai with fan.

there is a tropical inspired Master king Suite with Master Bathroom with large walk-in shower
2 Queen guest bedrooms that share a Jack & Jill Shower Room/toilet, with their own private vanity basin area.

All our Bedrooms feature very comfortable pillow top beds, with luxury linens and their own TV - bathrooms have lots of fluffy white towels and a hairdryer.

Games Room
The games room is air conditioned and features full-size pool table, air-hockey table, foosball and bar table and 2 stools. There is a large screen TV which is hooked up to the Xbox One gaming console seating is provided by 2 ottomans.
upstairs our games/poker table is a popular place for all the family to have fun, or watch the large TV for movie night.
Pool
The large lagoon pool with spa, and handrails for ease of access can be heated on request (additional charge)
The pool deck is secured by pool door alarms and there is a safety fence.
Outside
As you walk out of the living area to a grand, covered lanai and pool with spa, you will find the outdoor oasis you would expect in your dream vacation home.
The very large extended deck - specially designed by us, has amazing South facing open views over meadows, it is the perfect place for fun and relaxation.
Our luxury outdoor furniture offers a very comfortable seating area with cooling fans if it get too warm for you, and there are plenty of loungers for the sun worshippers in your party, plus a dining area, a large gas barbeque (included in your rate). There is a fridge and outdoor TV.
All doors to the pool area are alarmed.

There is parking for 3 cars on our extended drive and you can also park on the road in marked spaces. (must have car pass which you receive on check in)

Pets
Pets Considered - Yes
We allow up to 2 small/medium dogs by prior arrangement. We supply doggy blankets for use on our furniture.
There is an additional charge of $100 per stay for up to 2 dogs.
Please note enhanced cleaning takes place after each pet stay to ensure our home is spotlessly clean for incoming guests..

Solterra Resort Orlando located in Davenport, Florida just off HWY54. This resort style community is only 15 minutes from Disney World. The Solterra Resort has a communal clubhouse open to all guests. It features a large pool area with water slide, lazy river, hot tub and plenty of sun loungers for all. There is also a large covered lounge area with outdoor TV’s and tables so you can get a break from the hot Florida sun, whilst enjoying a snack from the onsite cafe. Building work is ongoing as the community grows, and new homes are being added to the site as they are completed.
Solterra Resort Rentals minutes from Disney
Inside the Solterra Resort air conditioned clubhouse there is a gym with state of the art workout equipment. There is also a lounge with comfy sofas, dining tables, HDTV, breakfast bar and small kitchen area. An ideal area to sit, read a book and relax while the kids play in the pool.
For kids there is a play area which has slides, climbing frames and is sand based so easy on the feet. If you feel like a game of Tennis there are courts available but you will need your own balls and racket.
Solterra Resort is close to shops, restaurants and supermarkets at Champions Gate or Reunion Resort. As well as minutes from the Orlando attractions via the I4. If you are flying in to Orlando then the Solterra Resort is only 30 minute from Orlando International Airport. With Sandford Airport about an hour and Tampa about 1 hr 15 mins.

Restaurants near Solterra Resort, Florida
Whilst staying at the Solterra Resort you will no doubt be eating out most nights. The closest place would be Champions Gate village which has a selection of shops, gas stations, pharmacies and restaurants. We have put together a list of Champions Gate restaurants with links to the menus so you can see what's on offer. Our personal favourite is Millers Ale House or Chili's.
For more choice head to the HWY192 where there are over 50 restaurants within a few miles of each other. We have put together a list of Kissimmee restaurants along HWY192 with links to menus and also there tripadvisor and google pages so you see reviews.
Direction to Solterra Resort Orlando
More than likely you will be driving to Solterra Resort via Interstate 4 so below are the very simple directions from Interstate 4. We have also added driving direction from Orlando International Airport, Sandford and Tampa airports so you won't get lost after a long flight.
East Bound: Take I-4 Exit 55 and go south on Highway 27. Turn right on Heller Brothers Blvd. Then right on Ernie Caldwell Blvd. Then left on Pine Tree Trail. Solterra Resort will be on the right.
West Bound: Take Exit 58 at Champions Gate. Go right on Champions Gate Blvd. Turn Left on Ronald Reagan Parkway and then right on Pine Tree Trail. Solterra Resort will be on the left.
Solterra Resort Nearby Shops
The Solterra Resort is located just off HWY54 in Davenport and is close to Champions Gate, Posner Park and Reunion. Each of these areas has shops, supermarkets and restaurants so you are never far from anything. For shopping head to Posner Park as this is the nearest shopping mall which also has a brand new cinema. Other nearby places include Celebration which has lots of restaurants and independent boutiques. Great place for lunch and a walk around the lake. You are also not far from HWY192 which is the main road that links Davenport to Kissimmee and has hundreds of shops, restaurants and other attractions.

These are actual distances to the car parks rather than to the edge of the Disney property which is how most people quote times. We want to give you a realistic time, Disney has a 30 square mile site so once you reach the edge of the property you can still have a 10 minute drive to get to the car parks. We have also included Busch Gardens in Tampa.

Golf Courses near Solterra Resort Orlando
There are lots of golf courses near the Solterra Resort but here are just a few that I would recommend. You can normally book on there personal websites or by calling the pro shops which is sometimes best if the weather is looking a bit unsettled. If you book online you can't normally cancel, but if call and book over the phone they don't normally ask for payment upfront. If the weather is looking good also check www.golfnow.com as they often have last minute Hot deals and you can get some very cheap rates.

Most of our Florida villas will either have door alarms on any exterior door that leads to the pool area or a pool safety fence surrounding the pool.
